| 1 1/2 | ts | Salt |
| 1 | ts | Soda |
| 3 | | Med eggs |
| 1 1/2 | c | Sugar |
| 1 | c | Shorting |
| 1/2 | ts | Vanilla |
| 1/2 | ts | Almond |
| | | Frosting for garnishes |
1. Cream together shortning and sugar. Mix in eggs one at a time. Mix
well. Add vanilla and almond. 2. Mix togetger flour, salt, soda. Stir
well. 3. Add 1/2 flour mixture to shortening mixture. Mix well. Add
remaining flour. Chill 1 hr. 4. Roll dough on lightly floured surface. 5.
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. 6. Garnish with frosting.
