Title: Pennestroika Penne with Vodka & Spicy Tomato Cream Sauce

1/8cExtra virgin olive oil
2lgGarlic cloves minced
1/4tsCrushed red pepper flakes
 pnOf salt
15ozCan diced tomatoes
8ozPenne or similar pasta
1/2cHeavy cream or half and half
2tbVodka
1/4cChopped parsley

Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. In unheated large skillet combine oil, garlic, peppers and pinch of salt. Stir to coat with oil. Cook over moderate heat till garlic is golden. Stir in tomatoes and simmer for 15 minutes. Meanwhile boil water and cook pasta al dente. Add drained pasta to skillet with tomato sauce. Add vodka and toss. Add cream and toss. Cover and reduce heat to low. Let sit
