1 | cn | Clams |
1 1/2 | c | Milk |
2 | tb | Butter |
1 1/4 | ts | Salt |

Put bacon in a med size saucepan and heat over med heat until fat begins to render out. Add slice onion and cook, stiring frequently. Add diced potatoes. Pour in water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover saucepan, and simmer for about 10 minutes. Add clams, undrained. Stir in milk, butter, salt, sugar and pepper, Cover pan and simmer 5 minutes.
