6 | Cloves garlic | |
1 | lg | Onion. |
3 | tb | Paprika (preferably Szego) |
1 | tb | Hot paprika |
2 | lb | Chicken (amount not critical) |
2 | Chicken boullion cubes (optional) | |
2 | lb | Sauerkraut |
4 | Potatoes peeled and chunked (raw) (or more paprika + a shot |
Chop garlic and onion. PAM and heat stew pot, add garlic and then onion. Add paprika When onions cooked, add chicken (1-2 lbs)
Add juice from Sauerkraut and enough water to mostly cover the chicken (2 cups)
After simmering for 20 minutes, pull out chicken & remove bones. (Alternatively use boneless chicken or turkey) Add boullion cubes Add sauerkraut & potatoes Cook for another hour or two.
