Title: Thelma Lou's Corn Custard > Mayberry

Yield: 6 Servings
2 | c | Canned cream style corn |
3 | lg | Eggs or 4 small, well beaten |
2 | c | Warm milk |
1 | ts | Sugar salt and pepper to taste dash nutmeg |
1/2 | c | Bread or cracker crumbs |
2 | tb | Melted butter |
Grease a 6 cup casserole dish. In a large bowl combine the corn, eggs, milk, sugar, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Pour into the prepared dish. Combine the crumbs and melted butter, tossing well. Sprinkle over the corn mixture. Bake in a 300F oven for 35-40 minutes, or until firm. Serve 4-6.
