Title: Thelma Lou's Corn Custard > Mayberry

Yield: 6 Servings

2cCanned cream style corn
3lgEggs or 4 small, well beaten
2cWarm milk
1tsSugar salt and pepper to taste dash nutmeg
1/2cBread or cracker crumbs
2tbMelted butter

Grease a 6 cup casserole dish. In a large bowl combine the corn, eggs, milk, sugar, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Pour into the prepared dish. Combine the crumbs and melted butter, tossing well. Sprinkle over the corn mixture. Bake in a 300F oven for 35-40 minutes, or until firm. Serve 4-6.
