Title: Basics: Barley

2 | c | Vegetable or chicken stock or water |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
1 | c | Pot or pearl barley |
Basics for new cooks:
In saucepan, bring water and salt to boil over high heat; stir in barley. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer for 40 minutes or until tender and liquid has evaporated. Makes about 3 cups, or 4 servings.
