1 | lb | Very lean ground beef |
1 | ts | Ground Sage |
1/2 | ts | Dried Thyme |
1/2 | ts | Garlic Powder |
1 | ts | Black Pepper |
1 | ts | Liquid Smoke |
1/2 | ts | Crushed red pepper |
1. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly and shape into patties.
2. Broil or pan fry. If pan frying pour off fat as it collects.
3. Drain patties on paper towels.
Variations: "Hot" Sausage: Increase crushed red pepper by 1 tablespoon.
