Title: Cinnamon Coffee Bread

1 1/2 | ts | Yeast |
3 | c | Bread flour |
1 | ts | Salt |
1 | tb | Sugar |
4 | tb | Nonfat dry milk powder |
1 1/2 | ts | Unsalted butter |
1 | c | Water |
1 | lg | Egg |
1 | ts | Lemon juice |
FILLING: | ||
2 | tb | Unsalted butter |
3 | tb | Dark brown sugar |
1 1/2 | ts | Cinnamon |
1/3 | c | Walnuts -- chopped |
1 1/2 | tb | Bread flour |
Prepare filling a few hours before making bread. Mix filling ingredients except bread flour together and place on a piece of plastic wrap and shape into a cyclinder approximately 2" in diameter. Wrap well. Freeze until solid, approximately two hours. Do not remove from freezer until ready to use. When filling is almost ready start bread on raisin bread setting. Cut filling into 1/4" cubes with very sharp knife. Sprinkle with the bread flour to coat so that streusel cubes do not stick together. Add when machine beeps.
