Title: Lorraine's Buttermilk Rye Bread

1 1/3 | c | Buttermilk; (Welbilt/Dak machines add 3 T. more |
3 | c | Bread flour |
1 | c | Rye flour |
1 1/2 | ts | Salt |
1 1/2 | tb | Butter or margarine |
2 | tb | Brown sugar |
1/2 | ts | Baking soda |
1 | ts | Caraway seeds |
3 | ts | Red Star active dry yeast Panasonic/National machines use 4- |
Place all ingredients in bread pan, select Light Crust setting, menu selection: Bake (light). Some machines need to use White bread setting.
After the baking cycle ends, remove bread from pan, place on cake rack, and allow to cool 1 hour before slicing. Makes 1-1/2 lb loaf.
