Title: Linda's New Oatmeal Bread

Yield: 21 Servings
1/2 | c | Oats |
1 1/8 | c | Boiling water |
1/4 | c | Molasses |
3 | c | Bread flour |
1 | ts | Salt |
1/2 | tb | Butter |
1 1/2 | ts | Yeast |
Combine the water and oats in the bread pan and let sit at least 15 min
until lukewarm. Add the rest of the ingredients, bake on light crust
setting. (You may need to add a little more liquid if the dough appears
dry in the second kneading cycle.) Pam's (Newton) idea of using oat flour
for some of the bread flour was a good one. (You may need to add extra
gluten, though.) Gee, this sounds like a very tasty Oatmeal Bread.... think
