Title: Dried Strawberry Brioche French Toast

Yield: 10 Slices
1 | Recipe Brioche with dried strawberries | |
4 | Large eggs | |
1 | c | Whole milk |
1 | tb | Honey |
2 | oz | Unsalted butter |
Cut the bread into 10 4x4 slices, each approximately 3/4 inch thick. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, and honey. Heat 1 tablespoon of the butter in a large skillet. When the butter begins to sizzle, dip the slices of bread into the egg mixture to coat both sides, then place no more than 2 slices at a time in the skillet and cook, turning once, until both sides are golden brown. Replenish the butter as necessary and continue dipping and cooking until all the toast is done. Keep the cooked french toast warm on a baking shet in a 200F. oven, covered loosely with foil to prevent it from drying out. Serve with hot Fresh Strawberry Sauce.
