Title: Cheesy Potato Bread

SMALL LOAF | ||
1/2 | c | Water |
1/3 | c | Potato, peeled, chopped |
1/3 | c | Milk |
1/4 | c | Cheddar cheese, shredded |
1 1/2 | ts | Margarine or butter |
2 1/4 | c | Bread flour |
2 | ts | Sugar |
1/2 | ts | Onion salt |
1/4 | ts | Caraway seed, crushed |
1 1/2 | ts | Yeast |
LARGE LOAF | ||
3/4 | c | Water |
1/2 | c | Potato, peeled, chopped |
1/2 | c | Milk |
1/3 | c | Cheddar cheese, shredded |
2 | ts | Margarine or butter |
3 1/3 | c | Bread flour |
1 | tb | Sugar |
3/4 | ts | Onion salt |
1/4 | ts | Caraway seed, crushed |
2 | ts | Yeast |
In small saucepan, combine water and potato. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat, simmering about 10 minutes or until potato is very tender. DO NOT DRAIN! Mash potato in the water. Measure 1/2 cup potato/water mixture. If necessary, add water to equal 1/2 cup for small loaf or 2/3 cup for large loaf. Discard excess. Allow to cool. Add potato mixture and remaining ingredients to machine and push start!
