Title: Lg. Almond Butter Crescents Dough *

3/4 | c | Milk |
1 | c | Butter |
2 | ts | Extract, almond |
2 | tb | Almond paste |
3 | Eggs | |
1/2 | c | Sugar |
1/2 | ts | ;salt |
4 | c | Flour, all purpose |
2 1/2 | ts | Yeast |
FILLING | ||
1/2 | Butter; melted | |
1 | ts | Extract, almond |
Add ingredients except filling ingredients to ABM in order listed. Select dough cycle and begin.
The dough will be extremely stickly and you will need to use a little flour for kneading when you take it out of the machine. Knead the dough very lightly and roll into 1 or 2 circles (depending on size of recipe you are making.) Brush mixture of melted butter and almond extract on top of circle. Cut circle into 5 to 8 pieces, as you would a pie. Roll each piece from wide end to tip of triangle so that it forms a crescent. Place on a cornmeal-covered baking sheet, cover and let rise for approximately 1 hour. Bake at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes, watching carefully to avoid burining.
