o Do not use strong detergent or wash in a dishwasher or or immerse in water or other liquid. Warm water is usually all that is needed to clean the bread pan and kneading blade.
o Do not use scrubbing brushes or metal utensils. A coated surface may change appearance after prolonged use. This is caused by moisture and steam and has no effect on the use or hygiene of the bread maker.
My experience is that that li'l puppy is EASY to clean, and Consumer Reports gives it a very high mark in that area.
Thanks for the tip. I don't think I've used soap in the bread pan so far, and now I'll make sure I don't. That's something I never would have thought of.
