Title: Batter-Fried Shrimp

Yield: 6 Servings
2 | lb | Large Shrimp, uncooked |
3/4 | c | Flour, unsifted |
3/4 | c | Water |
1 | Egg, slightly beaten | |
1 | tb | Sugar |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
Planters Peanut Oil |
Peel shrimp leaving tails on; devein. Split shrimp part way through, butterfly fashion. Combine flour, water, egg, sugar and salt to make a batter. Dip shrimp into batter and fry in deep, hot (375 degrees F.) Planters Peanut Oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
Makes about 6 servings.
