Title: Candied Cherry Tomatoes

Yield: 1 Batch
4 | c | Cherry tomatoes; stemmed |
1 1/2 | c | Buttered bread crumbs |
1/2 | c | Brown sugar; or honey |
3 | tb | Butter |
1/4 | c | Onion; chopped |
3/4 | ts | Salt |
Saute onion in butter. Add washed cherry tomatoes, 6 tbsp of brown sugar or honey, and salt. Cook very slowly to prevent sticking, until liquid evaporates. Put mixture in a baking dish. Top with bread crumbs and remaining sugar or honey and bake in 350 F oven until crumbs brown.
