Title: Hot Spiced Tea - Sl 10/83

Yield: 10 Cups
4 | 3-inch cinnamon sticks; halved | |
1 | ts | Whole cloves |
1/2 | ts | Allspice |
1 | qt | ;Hot tea |
1/2 | c | Sugar |
3 | c | Orange juice |
3 | c | Unsweetened pineapple juice |
Orange slice quarters (optional) |
Combine first 3 ingredients in a tea ball or cheesecloth bag; set aside. Combine hot tea and sugar in a large Dutch oven; stir in juice. Add spice mixture and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes. Garnish each serving with fresh orange, if desired. Serve hot. Yield: 10 cups.
