2 | tb | Olive oil |
1 | lb | Ground beef |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
1/2 | ts | Fresh-ground black pepper |
1 | ts | Fresh-ground cumin |
1 | c | Ketchup |
1 | c | Diced fresh or canned |
Tomatoes |
Saute onions, bell pepper, jalapeno pepper and garlic in oil until onions are translucent. Add beef and cook, stirring until meat is lightly browned. Drain fal. Add seasonings and cook 1 min. more. Add ketchup and tomatoes and cook uncovered over low heat until reduced to a thick sauce. Serve on toasted buns.
