Title: Butter Pecan Squares

Yield: 16 Squares
1/2 | c | Butter, softened |
1/2 | c | Packed lt. brown sugar |
1 | Egg | |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
3/4 | c | All-purpose flour |
2 | c | Hershey's milk chocolate |
Chips, divided. | ||
3/4 | c | Chopped pecans, divided |
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8 or 9" square baking pan. In small mixer bowl beat butter, sugar, egg and vanilla until light and fluffy. Blend in flour. Stir in 1 c. chocolate chips and 1/2 c. pecans. Spread into prepared pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned. Remoe from oven. Immediately sprinkle remaining 1 c. chips over surface. Let stand 5-10 minutes or until chips soften; spread evenly. Immediately sprnkle remaining 1/4 c. pecans over top; press gently onto chocolate. Cool completely. Cut into squares.
