2 | lb | Ground beef |
2 | md | Onion; chopped |
12 | Corn tortillas; cut into one inch strips | |
2 | md | Can tomato and green chilies |
1/2 | ts | Cumin |
1 | Clove garlic; crushed | |
1/8 | ts | Pepper |
1 | lb | Cheddar cheese; grated |
Brown meat in frypan, add onion, seasonings and cans of tomatoes and green chilies. Cook and stir 20 minutes. Layer in crockpot:
1. Meat mixture 2. Tortillas 3. Meat mixture 4. Cheese 5. Tortillas 6. Meat mixture 7. Cheese
Cover and cook at 280 degrees F for 2 to 3 hours.
