Title: "Home Made" Potato Soup

6 | Potatoes, peeled and cut | |
1 | tb | Parsley flakes into bite-size pieces |
5 | c | Water |
2 | Leeks, washed and cut into bite-size pieces (optional | |
1 | tb | Salt Pepper |
2 | Onions, chopped | |
1/3 | c | Butter 1 carrot, pared and sliced |
1 | 13-ounce can evaporated milk | |
1 | Stalk celery, sliced | |
4 | Chicken bouillon cubes Chopped chives |
Put all ingredients except evaporated milk and chives in CROCK-POT. Cover and cook on Low 10 to 12 hours ( High: 3 to 4 hours).
Stir in evaporated milk during last hour. If desired, mash some of the potatoes with masher before serving.
