Bring the orangeflower water and distilled water to a boil in a saucepan and add the borax powder, stirring until dissolved and lower heat to simmer. In a separate saucepan, heat the appricot oil and add the beeswax, stirring until wax has melted. Remove from heat. SLOWLY pour the heated water and borax mixture into the oil and beeswax mixture with constant stirring. Continue stirring until a light, white cream forms and the mixture has cooled to room temperature. Add the fragrance oil and stir well. Pour the cream into a bottle and cap tightly. Due to the high water content, it is necessary to shake this cream before use. For a floral variation, replace the orangeflower water with rosewater and the fragrance oil with rose, jasmine or other floral perfume oil of choice.
