Sure!! Here's an easy way. Use a mix of the rose and lavendar to make a pot pouri decoration. Okay first you get one of those styrofoam bases. They sell them in shapes like circles, squares, rectangles, and hearts. Get some good glue, and lots of it, and have a brush handy.

First you want to make up your pot pouri. Mix about a half a cup of the rose petals with half a cup of the lavendar. More if you think you'll need it. Now pick either a rose geranium or lavendar oil. I really recommend that you get some orris root powder too as it helps to fix the scent. Put about two tablespoons of this with the other. Mix well. Then add about 20 to 40 drops of your oil to the whole. Use a plastic bag to mix all of this becuase it's easier to toss it all together this way. Toss well, and then put away for a few days to age.

When the potpouri smells as strong as you want it to take it out and put it into a tray or pie pan that is large enough for you to roll your shape into.

Now comes the fun part. Paint the shape with glue till it is completely covered. I use a couple of toothpicks stuck into the shape to handle it during this....adventure.

Oh before you get to this stage use an ice pick or awl to poke a hole in the shape from front to back. This will be the hole for your ribbon to hang your shape later. Once you have the shape completely painted front and back roll it in your pot pouri. When done rolling pick up the little pieces that keep falling off, and sprinkle them on again. You can even press them to the shape for a few seconds to try and get them to stick. This really works well if you wait till the glue is really tacky before you try it.

Once well covered with the pot pouri you want to put your ribbon on. Carefully. Now hang this up on a clothes hanger to dry.

Once dry you can decorate it with little silk flowers, dried flowers, ribbons, laces, or almost anything that strikes your fancy.

These make absolutely wonderfull little gifts for the house. I like to give them to friends at Xmas and Valentines day. You can do this with any pot pouri, and if the styrofoam is thin enough you can use cookie cutters to cut out designes from rectangular sheets of styrofoam. These make great little herb tree ornaments. By the way you can use the stryrofoam meat trays that come with your meat for this. Just be sure you wash them well in warm sudsy water first.

Just remember this. Nearly any herb can be used for crafts. I'm looking at making a little decoration for next year. I'll work on the plans this year, and do it next year about November 20th. I'm going to use dried herbs to make a Xmas tree, probably rosemary petals to similate the pine needles of a tree, and I'm going to decorate it with a Star Anise at the top for the star, and various beads and strings of herbs and such. It ought to be really lovely.
