2 1/2cCoriander seeds
1cDried red chilies
1/2cBlack peppercorns
2/3cRed lentils
1/3cYellow split peas
1 1/2tsCumin seeds
1smBunch curry leaves
1tsTurmeric

Dry roast all ingredients except turmeric in a heavy saucepan until lightly colored. Grind all the ingredients to a fine powder. Store in an airtight container.
