Cellulite Control Baths:
First, exfoliate your skin and stimulate your circulation by dry brushing with a natural bristle body brush. Start at the bottom of your feet and, using upward strokes, work your way toward your heart. Brush your legs, thighs, belly, arms, and back. Avoid sensitive areas like the chest, neck, breasts, and face. Add a handful of powdered kelp to a warm bath before you add the essential oils.
Some anti-cellulite oil blends are:
6 drops grapefruit, 3 drops cypress, 1 drop rosemary, 1 drop thyme;
*OR*
3 drops eucalyptus, 2 drops pine, 1 drop rosemary, 1 drop peppermint.
Add these blends to a nut oil base and do a quick massage after bathing. Source: Tara Fellner, "Aromatherapy for you and your Child" (Charles Tuttle Company) ** The Herb Qaurterly -- Summer 1996 **
