1. To prevent moths from chewing on your clothes, dry some rosemary leaves and sew them up in small decorative cloth bags of any shape you wish. Place several such bags among your clothing in a drawer or closet. A simple method of keeping the herbs in a drewer iis to line the bottom of the drawer with paper, sprinkle the herbs on the paper, then cover the works with a thickness of cloth, holding it in place with thumbtacks.

2. Another moth chaser is a mixture of equal parts of ground camphor wood (from camphor trees native to Formosa) and wormwood placed in bags among your woolens.

3. An effective mother-chaser that will sweetly perfume your closet is made by mixing equal parts of southernwood, wormwood, and lavender. Sew the dried herbs into cloth pillows and place strategically among your woolen garments.

4. Try this simple recipe for keeping moths at bay. Into one ounce of melted paraffin, stir 1 T. heliotrope oil, 1/4 tspp. bergamot oil, and 1/8 tsp. clove oil. Pour the blended mixture into a flat enamel or wooden pan. When cool, cut into small bars and place in your wardrobe to destroy moths.

5. For a manly scented moth repellent, sew equal parts of cedar wood shavings and ground sassafras root into small cloth pillows and place among sweaters and woolens.

6. For general moth and insect control in your home, use woodruff which smalls pleasantly like vanilla. Mix together vetiver root and crushed bay leaves to repell bugs of all types.

7. For a repellent to freshen your nose while scaring insects away, try this recipe. Combine 1/4 C. of each of the following; lemon peel, crushed cloves, lavender, spearmint and tansy. Place in bags among your clothing, and give the extras to a friend.
