Title: Salmon Patties (Baked)

1 | lg | Can salmon |
2 | Potatoes | |
Butter | ||
1 | Egg | |
A little grated onion | ||
2 | tb | Bread crumbs or Matzoh meal |
More bread crumbs | ||
Margarine |
Cook potatoes and mash with butter. Mash salmon [including any skin and bones; the skin has flavor and the bones have calcium -JW] with juice. Add the potatoes, egg, and bread crumbs. Mix and form into patties. Roll in additional bread crumbs to coat.
Cover a cookie sheet with foil and melt some margarine on it. [or spray with a nonstick cooking oil spray to reduce calories- JW] Place patties on the cookie sheet.
Bake 350 degrees 1 hour. Turn patties when crusty. [This sound too long- keep a close eye on things after 30 minutes- JW]
NOTE: I usually add a little salt & pepper and dill to taste. [And I would
