Title: Glazed Ham Loaf

1 | lb | Ground ham; cooked |
1 | lb | Ground pork |
1/2 | c | Corn flakes; crushed |
1 | Egg; beaten | |
2 | tb | Chili sauce |
2 | tb | Half-and-half |
1/2 | ts | Mustard, prepared |
2 | tb | Green pepper; chopped |
1/4 | c | Celery; chopped |
1/4 | c | Onion; chopped |
2 | tb | Oil; vegetable |
1/2 | c | Sugar, brown; firmly packed |
2 | tb | Mustard, prepared |
1/4 | ts | Cloves, ground |
Pineapple slices; opt. | ||
Maraschino cherries; opt. |
Combine meat, corn flakes, egg, chili sauce, half-and-half, and 1/2 teaspoon mustard; mix well. Saute pepper, celery, and onion in oil until tender; stir into meat mixture.
Combine brown sugar, 2 tablespoons mustard, and cloves; mix well. Spread mixture in a 9x5x3" loafpan; top with pieapple slices and cherries, if desired. Pack meat mixture into loafpan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Remove from pan before slicing.
