Title: Fettucine Alfredo - Ff

1/2 | lb | Noodles, 1/4-inch wide |
1/4 | lb | Unsalted butter; melted |
1 | c | Heavy cream; warmed |
3/4 | c | Parmesan cheese; freshly grated |
Salt to taste | ||
1/4 | ts | Freshly ground pepper |
Have a large bowl warmed and ready before you cook the noodles. [Cook the noodles according to package directions.] Drain the cooked noodles and put them into the bowl. Quickly add remaining ingredients, tossing briskly to coat all the noodles, and serve at once.
Variation: Noodles with poppy seeds. Omit the Parmesan cheese and add 3 tablespoons poppy seeds.
