Title: Barbecued (Indoor) Country-Style Spareribs - Sl 4/80

Yield: 4 Servings

2mdOnions; thinly sliced
2tbMelted buttter or margarine
1lgClove garlic; minced
1/2cCelery; chopped
1cCatsup
3/4c;water
1tsDry mustard
1tsSalt
1/4tsPepper
2tbBrown sugar
2tbVinegar
2tbLemon juice
2tbWorcestershire sauce
3 1/2lbCountry-style spareribs

Saute onion in butter until golden brown; stir in next 11 ingredients. Bring sauce to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes. Place ribs, meaty side up, on a rack in a shallow baking dish. Bake at 325 degrees F for about 2 hours or until well done, basting with sauce and turning every 30 minutes. Yield: 4 servings.
