Title: Super Supper

Yield: 6 Servings
1/4 | c | Butter |
6 | sl | Bread, toasted |
2 1/2 | c | American cheese, shredded |
3 | Eggs, slightly beaten. | |
2 1/2 | c | Condensed tomato soup |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
1/4 | ts | Dry mustard |
Spread butter over toasted bread; cut each slice into 6 squares. Grease a 2 quart baking dish; place alternate layers of toast squares and cheese, ending with top layer of cheese. Combine eggs, soup, salt, and mustard and pour over bread and cheese layers. Bake in a 325 F. oven for about 1 hour. May be garnished with finely chopped green pepper and sprigs of parsley.
Serve hot.
Condensed cream of mushroom soup may be used instead of tomato soup for a variation of this dish.
