3 | lb | Ground beef, lean |
1 | lg | Onion, chopped |
2 | cl | Garlic, minced |
5 | | Celery ribs, finely chopped |
1 1/2 | ts | Salt |
1/2 | ts | Pepper |
1 | tb | Cider vinegar |
2 | tb | Prepared mustard |
1/4 | c | Brown sugar |
1 | ts | Mustard seed |
3 1/2 | c | Catsup |
Brown meat in slow cooker or skillet on top of range on medium heat. Remove
excess grease. Transfer cooking pot to heating base or transfer meat to
slow cooker. Add all remaining ingredients stirring well to blend. Cover
and cook at setting #3 (for West Bend Slow Cooker) or low in others for 6 -
8 hours. Serve on buns or over hot dogs for chili dogs. Source: West Bend
