32 | oz | Can whole peeled tomatoes |
6 | | Chillies, to taste |
1/8 | ts | Cummin |
1/4 | ts | Cilantro |
1/2 | | Chopped white onion |
1 | | Clove garlic |
First: wash chillies, dry and toast whole. When skin begins to blister,
remove from heat and peel skin off. Remove tops and seeds! Slice and chop
chillies. mash garlic clove and chop coarsely. Chop fresh cilantro.
Chop coarsely onion. In blender, add: tomatoes, chillies (chopped),
garlic, cilantro, and onion. Blend for 5-10 seconds on mix (slow speed).
it should be a coarse sauce but not a true sauce. Pour into a glass
container and cover. Place in refrigerator. Note: The more chillies, the
hotter it becomes.
