Title: Sweet 'n Sassy Salsa

5 | Tomatillos | |
1/2 | md | White onion |
3 | cl | Garlic, peeled and chopped |
1 | tb | Peanut oil |
1 1/2 | Handsful of fresh chopped | |
1/2 | ts | Ground cumin |
1/4 | ts | Sugar |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
3 | Jalapenos | |
1 | tb | Freshly squeezed orange |
Cilantro leaves | ||
1/2 | ts | White vinegar |
Juice |
Boil the tomatillos in water until soft. Set aside. Saute the garlic and most of the white onion (save a handful) until the onion turns soft. Blend the tomatillos, onion, garlic and remaining ingredients, setting aside the little bit of onion and some fresh cilantro. Addd remaining onion and cilantro after blending. Cook the salsa for 5 to 10 minutes on medium heat.
