4 | tb | Sugar |
1/4 | c | Light soy sauce |
1 | c | Clear chicken stock; =OR= |
1 | c | Water |
2 | tb | Cornflour |
1/4 | c | Water; cold |
1 | Clove garlic; crushed | |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
Combine sugar, soy, and stock. Bring to the boil. Add cornflower mixed smoothly with the cold water and stir until mixture thickens. Simmer, stirringg for 1 minute. Stir in garlic crushed with salt.
