1/4cLight soy sauce
1cClear chicken stock; =OR=
1cWater
2tbCornflour
1/4cWater; cold
1 Clove garlic; crushed
1/4tsSalt

Combine sugar, soy, and stock. Bring to the boil. Add cornflower mixed smoothly with the cold water and stir until mixture thickens. Simmer, stirringg for 1 minute. Stir in garlic crushed with salt.
