10 | tb | Vinegar (cider) |
1/2 | ts | Thyme, powdered |
2 | tb | Salt |
1 | c | Corn oil |
1/2 | ts | Oregano, powdered |
1/2 | ts | Red pepper flakes |
Garlic cloves (whole)>>>>> as desired. | ||
Garlic powder to taste |
Peel and remove seed from mirlitons and cut into bite size pieces. In lge. pot of boiling water, place mirlitons and cook for no more than 3 min. Drain and cool. Make up marinade and pour over mirlitons.
