Title: Dried Apple Pie

Yield: 1 Pie
1/2 | lb | Dried apples |
3 | c | Cider |
1/2 | c | Brown sugar |
1 | ts | Cinnamon |
1/2 | ts | Mace |
1 | Double 9" unbaked pie crust | |
3 | tb | Butter |
Simmer appples and cider until apples are tender. Mix brown sugar, cinnamon and mace. Add to apples and cook about 10 minutes more. (Juice should be about gone). Cool. Pour into crust. Dot with butter. Cover with topp crust or lattice strips. Bake in a 425 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes-until crust is light brown.
