4 | c | Sassafras tea |
5 | c | Sugar |
3/4 | ts | Citric acid or sour salt |
1 | pk | Dry pectin |
Brew strong tea. Add sugar and citric acid; stir until boiling point is reached. Add pectin and continue to boil, stirring constantly until jelly forms in drops on tip of raised spoon. Ladle into sterilized glasses and seal with paraffin.
