1 | md | Cabbage; shredded |
1 | Onion; sliced | |
1/2 | c | Sugar |
Salt; to taste | ||
1/2 | c | Oil |
1/2 | c | Vinegar, white |
1/2 | ts | Mustard, dry |
1/2 | ts | Celery seed |
1 | tb | Sugar |
Sprinkle the 1/2 cup of sugar over the shredded cabbage and onions and let stand. Bring the remaining ingredients to a boil, and pour over the cabbage mixture. Cover and refrigerate at least three hours before serving.
