2	ga	Green Tomatoes;chopped unpeeled
12		Good Sized Onions; sliced
2	qt	Vinegar
1	qt	Sugar
2	tb	Salt
2	tb	Gr. Mustard
2	tb	Black Pepper
1	tb	Allspice
1	tb	Cloves

Mix all together and stew until tender, stirring often lest they should scorch. Put in small glass jars. SOURCE: Pennsylvania Dutch Cookbook.
