Title: Green Beans with Walnut Dressing - Sl 11/94

Yield: 8 Servings
2 | lb | Fresh green beans |
3 | qt | ;water |
1/2 | c | Green onions; finely chopped |
1/3 | c | Olive oil |
1/4 | c | Cider vinegar |
1/4 | c | Fresh parsley; chopped |
1/4 | c | Fresh dill; chopped |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
1/4 | ts | Pepper |
3/4 | c | Walnuts; toasted & coarsely chopped |
Wa | sh b | eans; trim ends. |
Bring water to a boil in a Dutch oven; add beans, and cook for 10 minutes or until tender. Drain and set aside. Combine green onions and next 6 ingredients; pour over green beans, and toss gently. Sprinkle with walnuts; serve hot or cold. Yield: 8 servings.
