1 | tb | Olive oil |
1 | ts | Coriander |
2 | | Cloves garlic minced |
1/4 | ts | Cinnamon |
1 | tb | Minced ginger root |
1/2 | ts | Ground cloves |
3/4 | c | Chopped onion |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
1/4 | ts | Cardamom |
1 1/2 | c | Long grain rice |
1/4 | ts | Caraway seeds |
3 3/4 | c | Water |
In saucepan, heat olive oil, add garlic, ginger & onion, cook until soft.
Mix in Cardamom, caraway seeds, coriander, cinnamon, cloves, salt and rice.
Blend well. Add water, cover, bring to boil. Reduce heat and cook until
water is absorbed, 25 mins or so.
