Title: Sweet Sour Beef Balls

1 | lb | Ground beef |
1 | | Egg |
1 | tb | Cornstarch |
1 | ts | Salt |
2 | tb | Onion, finely chopped |
| | Few grains of pepper |
1 | tb | Oil |
1 | c | Pineapple juice |
1 | tb | Soy sauce |
3 | tb | Vinegar |
6 | tb | Water |
1/2 | c | Sugar |
4 | sl | Pineapple |
3 | lg | Green peppers |
Mix beef, egg, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, salt, onion, and pepper. Form
into small balls, 20 or more. Brown them in a small amount of oil. Drain.
To 1 tablespoon of oil, add pineapple juice and cook slowly for a few
minutes. Add mixture of cornstarch, soy sauce, vinegar, water, and sugar.
Cook until it thickens, stirring constantly. Add meat balls, cut up
pineapple, and green pepper, cut into strips. Heat thoroughly. Serve hot
