| | Butter |
1/2 | lb | Ground beef |
1/4 | c | Chopped onion |
2 | tb | Chopped celery |
1 | tb | Prepared mustard |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
1 | c | Shredded Cheddar cheese |
1 | | Egg, slightly beaten |
3/4 | c | Milk |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
| | Dash of pepper |
1/8 | ts | Dry mustard |
Heat your oven to 350 degrees. Toast the bread; buttering both sides. Cook
and stir meat, onion, celery, prepared mustard and 1/2 tsp. of salt until
meat is brown and onion is tender. Alternate layers of toast, meat mixture
and cheese in a greased baking pan, 9 x 9 x 2 inches. Mix remaining
ingredients, pour over layers in the pan. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake,
uncovered, for 30 to 35 minutes. Randy Rigg
