Title: Wilted Cabbage Salad

1 | lg | Head of cabbage, shredded |
1 | md | Onion, sliced |
3/4 | c | Sugar |
3/4 | c | Salad oil |
1 | c | Vinegar |
1 | ts | Salt |
1 | ts | Dried mustard |
1 | ts | Celery seed |
1 | ts | Sugar |
Layer cabbage and onion in a bowl. Pour sugar on top but DO NOT MIX. Bring other ingredients to a boil. Pour hot dressing over cabbage, onion and sugar. Let stand for at least 3 hours but better overnight. Mix before serving. Randy Rigg
