Title: Fatigue Part 2

Yield: 3 Formulas

...Continued from Fatigue part 1

ù Take High-Iron Tea frequently throughout the day. It will taste bitter, but it is very effective in restoring energy.

H I G H - I R O N T E A Brew this mixture extra strong by infusing 2 tablespoons of the mixture per cup of water and allowing it to steep overnight. Take by the tablespoon every hour or two throughout the day.

I R O N - P L U S S Y R U P This is an excellent formula for adding easily digestible vitamins and minerals to the diet. Iron-Plus is high in iron, calcium, vitamin A, and a host of trace minerals. With the addition of concentrated fruit extracts and sweetener, it is a tasty liquid vitamin/mineral supplement.

Use 2 ounces of herb mixture to one quart of water. Over low heat, simmer the liquid down to one pint. This will give you a very concentrated, thick tea. Strain the herbs from the liquid (use a stainless-steel strainer or a potato ricer, lined with fine cheesecloth). Compost the herbs and pour the liquid back into the pot. To each pint of liquid, add one cup of honey (or maple syrup, brown or white sugar, etc.). Most recipes call for twice this much sweetener, but now that most of us have refrigerators, this much sugar is not needed for preservation. If the syrup has too much sugar, it will taste TOO sweet and you may not like the taste. Warm the honey and liquid together to mix well. A thicker syrup can be made by cooking over high heat for 20 to 30 minutes, but this cooks the living enzymes out of the honey. It's better to warm them just enough to mix well. When finished heating, remove from heat and stir in spirulina and yeast (2 teaspoons of each for each pint of finished syrup). Add ¬ cup brandy and ¬ cup fruit concentrate for each pint. Fruit concentrates, available at natural food stores, are concentrated extracts of fresh fruit and add additional vitamins and minerals as well as a delicious fruity flavor. Do not add juice, as it will dilute the syrup and encourage possible fermentation. The suggested dosage of this syrup is 4-6 tablespoons daily.
