Low blood pressure can be due to dehydration and/or low blood sugar as well as to a loss of blood. Black cohosh, linden flowers, hawthorne berries, and shepherd's purse will help stabilize blood pressure during labor. Be certain to drink sufficient fluids. It is good to have a birth attendant who watches and regulates the amount of fluid you are drinking. During the intensity and excitement of labor pains, one is often not aware of how much liquid one is consuming.
