Title: Cha Siu (Bbq Pork)

1 | lb | Pork tenderloin, butt or |
Shoulder | ||
1/4 | c | Soy sauce |
3 | tb | Hoisin sauce |
2 | tb | Red wine or dry sherry |
2 | tb | Garlic, crushed |
1 | tb | Grated fresh ginger |
1 | tb | Sugar or honey |
6 | dr | Red food coloring |
(optional) | ||
3 | tb | Toasted sesame seeds |
Mustard Sauce: | ||
2 | ts | Coleman's mustard |
2 | ts | Water |
pn | Salt | |
pn | Sugar | |
Few drops of oil |
Mix all ingredients except sesame seeds and pour over pork.
Marinate 3 hours at room temperature or overnight in the refrigerator.
Place pork on rack over drip pan in 350 F oven and roast for 1 hour to 70 minutes (depending on your oven), turning and basting every 15 minutes with the marinade.
Slice thinly for serving. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and serve with mustard sauce.
