2 | ts | Powdered ginger or fresh ginger root; smashed |
2 | md | Tomatoes; quartered |

1 | Lemon; juice of | |
4 | c | Water |
Salt and pepper taste | ||
1 | Stalk scallion; diced |
Put all ingredients except lemon juice in a large sauce pan and simmer for 45 minutes. Bring serving, add lemon juice and diced scallion and serve.
