Title: Moroccan Haroseth

1lbPitted dates -- chopped
1 1/2cSweet red passover wine
1tsGround cinnamon
1/2tsGround cloves
1cWalnuts -- coarsely chopped

Put the dates in a pan with the wine and seasonings and simmer until the mixture resembles a soft paste, about 30 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool. Add the walnuts andserve. By Jane Rosenberg-Coombs on Apr 12, 1997
